We are pleased to inform you that the application for Chonnam National University Exchange Program Fall Semester 2026 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT & BENEFITS
- Monthly Assistantships: Approximately USD 600–1,800+ depending on the lab and degree.
- Tuition Waiver: Full tuition waiver for the first semester for Ph.D. students.
- Research Incentives: Additional incentives provided for publications and conference participation.
- Career Pathway: Outstanding science and engineering graduates may receive support in obtaining a long-term residency visa (F-type) in Korea after graduation.
ELIGIBILITY
Final-year undergraduate students or alumni seeking Master’s or Ph.D. degrees.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Apply directly to CNU via their online system. The admission process is divided into two rounds:
Round 1
- Online Application: April 1 – April 17, 2026.
- Document Submission: April 1 – May 1, 2026.
- Announcement: June 12, 2026.
Round 2
- Online Application: April 24 – May 15, 2026.
- Document Submission: April 24 – May 29, 2026.
- Announcement: July 1, 2026.
(Note: Applications not completed in Round 1 may be considered for Round 2 with applicant consent.)
The FINAL decision is from Chonnam National University.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
