Greetings from France!

Aix-Marseille Université (AMU), established in 2012, is the largest multidisciplinary university in the French-speaking world. With over 80,000 students and 8,000 staff, it spans five campuses and offers programs across sciences, humanities, law, economics, and health. AMU is recognized for its strong research output and international collaborations. The university plays a vital role in regional development while contributing significantly to global scholarship.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for Aix-Marseille University Staff Training Week 2026 is now open.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

  • The CIVIS Staff Training Week, taking place from 30 March to 3 April 2026 in Aix-en-Provence, on the theme: “From Local to Global: Shaping the Future of International Education.”
  • This 5-day training is designed for staff involved in internationalisation (International Relations, administrative and academic staff) and will combine expert inputs, participatory workshops, networking opportunities and cultural activities. Key topics include international degrees, internationalisation at home, and the role of promotion and recruitment in internationalisation.
  • Participation is free of charge; lunches, the welcome cocktail and cultural activities are offered by amU.

 

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • This Staff Week is open to all higher education and research professionals, whatever their nationality, involved in setting up or managing internationalization projects: international relations staff, administrative staff, teachers in charge of IR, etc.
  • Number of places: 40 maximum
  • Working languages: English and French

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Apply directly to Aix-Marseille University. Kindly refer to the Online Registration Form.
  2. The deadline is 01 February 2026.
  3. The final decision is from Aix-Marseille University.

  • This program is offered free of charge; however, all costs associated with participation shall be borne independently by participants or covered by their respective work units.
