We are pleased to inform you that the application for Ritsumeikan Summer Japanese Program 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

  • The program will take place in the historically rich city of Kyoto, providing students with the chance to study the Japanese language and immerse themselves in Japan’s unique cultural heritage.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
  2. Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
  3. Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  4. Be proficient in English or able to communicate in basic Japanese
  5. Master Hiragana and Katana before the program starts.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. Handwritten Essay in Japanese
  2. Official Enrollment and Transcript ready
  3. Passport (COPY)
  4. Medical Form from your doctor
  5. Signed Letter of Consent

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  • Apply directly to Ritsumeikan University. Kindly refer to the website. Please note the application system is only accessible during the following hours:

    • Monday – Saturday: 07.00 – 19.30 WIB
    • Wednesday: 07.00 – 17.30 WIB
  • The deadline is 8 May 2025.
  • The FINAL decision is from Ritsumeikan University.
