Palacký University, also known as Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci (UP), is a public research university located in the city of Olomouc in the Czech Republic. It is one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education. The university is named after František Palacký, a renowned Czech historian and politician who played a significant role in the Czech National Revival.
