Greetings from Kyoto University, Japan!

Kyoto University, nestled in the historic city of Kyoto, Japan, stands as a prestigious institution renowned for its academic excellence and rich cultural heritage. Established in 1897, the university has evolved into one of the country’s leading educational and research centers, consistently ranking among the top institutions globally. Its picturesque campus, blending modern facilities with traditional Japanese architecture, reflects the harmonious coexistence of past and present. 

We are pleased to inform you that the application for Kyoto University Amgen Scholarships Program 2024 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

 

PROGRAM INFORMATION

A summer undergraduate research program in life science and biotechnology sponsored by Amgen Foundation. 

    • Duration: June 7 to August 2, 2024 (8 week)
  • Application Deadline: February 1, 2024 (3 PM JST)
  • 10 slots will be offered to undergraduate students from colleges and universities throughout Asia to undertake laboratory experience.
  • Financial support will be provided such as a round-trip ticket, accommodation and scholarship.
  • Students will gain research knowledge, and opportunity to network with other students and professionals, and gain invaluable insight to life as a graduate student.
  • In addition to research experience, students also participate in various workshops, educational and cultural based activities, as well as a two-day Asia Symposium.
