The Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Institute of Technology) invites Universitas Gadjah Mada students to participate in Science Tokyo-AYSEAS. This annual joint educational program brings together students from Japan and Southeast Asia. Held in Hanoi this year , the program allows participants to experience the dynamism of rapidly growing Asian countries through interactive learning and cultural exchange
We are pleased to inform you that the application for Science Tokyo-AYSEAS is now open for UGM students.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Science Tokyo-AYSEAS is a joint educational program organized annually by Science Tokyo and partner universities to bring together students from universities in Japan and Southeast Asia. Through site visits, discussions, and communication with students from different backgrounds, AYSEAS participants learn about and experience the dynamism of rapidly growing Asian countries.
- Duration: September 16 – September 25, 2025
- Contents: Site visits to companies and universities, group discussions, cultural exchange, presentation
- Fees: Participation fee is exempted. accommodation (VND6,075,000), airfare, and other expenses should be borne by participants

IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
