The Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation invites Universitas Gadjah Mada students to participate in the Japan Youth Summit 2026 (Autumn Edition). Held in Osaka, Japan, this international forum focuses on youth innovation, leadership, and global stability.
Under the theme “Beyond Limits: Youth Leading the Next Era of Innovation and Global Stability,” participants will collaborate in multicultural teams to design and present impactful projects addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4, 8, 9, and 11).
We are pleased to inform you that the application for the Japan Youth Summit 2026 is now open for UGM students.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Dates: 19–22 October 2026
- Location: Osaka, Japan
- Activities: Innovation and Technology Project Competition, leadership workshops, collaborative discussions, and project labs designed to enhance 21st-century skills.
ELIGIBILITY & FEES
- Active UGM undergraduate or graduate students.
- Funding: YBB offers a Fully Funded track for top-tier delegates (covering flights, accommodation, and program fees). Please note that this is highly competitive, and alternative self-funded tracks are also available. Review the official guidelines for full financial details.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Students must apply directly to the organizers.
- Read the official guidelines carefully and prepare your application via the Japan Youth Summit Portal.
- The FINAL decision is from the Youth Break the Boundaries Foundation.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
