On Wednesday, May 4, 2023, Mahidol University visited Universitas Gadjah Mada as part of its visitation activity in Indonesia. President of Mahidol University, Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D. together with the ranks of Mahidol University was welcomed by the Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG., Ph.D., in the University Club followed by the deans of the faculties at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
At the start of the meeting, the President of Mahidol University, along with Professor Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya, the Chair Committee on HURS Development from Mahidol University presented the Certificate and Trophy of Healthy University Ranking System 2022 Award to Universitas Gadjah Mada and followed by a token exchange between Universitas Gadjah Mada and Mahidol University.
Universitas Gadjah Mada invited the delegates to a casual lunch meeting to discuss ongoing and future collaboration with numerous faculties at Universitas Gadjah Mada together with the deans of the faculties at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
During the discussion, Mahidol University staff from the same faculties at Universitas Gadjah Mada held talks regarding the possibility of expanding cooperation and increasing collaborative interaction between the two institutions.
The discussion wrapped up with the commitment of the two institutions to continuously improving cooperation for future collaborations. Afterward, the delegates visited several faculties at Universitas Gadjah Mada through a campus tour, which ended with a group photo in front of the Universitas Gadjah Mada main building.
