Warm greetings from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan!
National Chung Hsing University was established in Taihoku Prefecture in 1919, originally as the Advanced Agronomic and Forest Academy. In 1928, the academy entered the imperial university of Taihoku. In 1943, the department was once again autonomous and transferred into the Prefecture of Taichū. The school was reorganized and became Taichung Agriculture Junior College following Taiwan’s move from Japan to the Republic of China in 1940. It was rehabilitated at the Taichung Agriculture College in 1946. In 1961 it merged in Chung Hsing University with the newly-established College of Science and Engineering and the College of Law and Industry. It was named the National College of Chung Hsing University in 1971.
