There are several ways your students can participate in AU Summer University, depending on your pre-ferred model.
Exchange students (tuition-fee waived)
You may use an existing bilateral exchange agreement to send tuition-fee-waived exchange students to AU Summer University.
• Exchange is calculated using a 3:1 ratio
(three incoming summer students equal one outgoing semester student from Aarhus University)
• Subject to the overall exchange balance
• Nominations for 2026 are already open
Group bookings (institution-paid)
You are welcome to send a group of students, where your institution covers the costs.
• One consolidated invoice from Aarhus University
• Flexible setup:
– Course fee only
– Course fee + housing
– Other agreed combinations
Individual fee-paying students
Students may also apply individually as fee-paying students, without nomination.
• No payment until after admission
• Free cancellation up to two weeks before course start
• Students apply directly via our website
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
List of required documents for exchange students
Please note that before you can apply as an exchange student your coordinator must have nominated you online first. You may refer your local international coordinator to this page.
• A copy of your passport or other valid EU/EEA/Swiss ID.
• A transcript of your completed courses so far and a copy of your bachelor degree if you apply for master courses.

- The deadline is 17 March 2026.
- The FINAL decision is from Aarhus University
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
