Greetings from Burgundy School of Business!

Burgundy School of Business was founded in 1899 and has since become one of the world’s top teaching and research institutions. It is listed among France’s top 14 business schools and is among the top 1% of all business schools worldwide. They are in the center of Dijon, the former Franche-Comte capital of Burgundy. High-level management programs are available from BSB in the undergraduate, graduate, and MBA levels. Totally in either English or French. In order to provide great content and high-quality instruction, BSB is happy to have over 3000 students, 72 permanent teachers, and 350 expert speakers. Furthermore, BSB provides more than 60 foreign Dual-degree programs and collaborates with 200 significant academic partners in 56 different nations.

We are pleased to inform you that Burgundy School of Business invites you to join their short summer programme in June 2023.

 

This year, Burgundy School of Business will be offering 2 sessions of the ‘Authentic leadership and entrepreneurial creativity’ programme, taught entirely in English:

  • In-person session from 19th to 23rd June 2023 with 25 contact hours and 6 ECTS credits
  • Online session from 3rd to 7th July 2023 with 20 contact hours and 4 ECTS credits

Both sessions are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

 

SNEAK PEAK OF THE PROGRAMME

The workshop concept combines modern learning methods such as experimental learning, problem-based learning, elements of personal development and a number of creativity techniques. It is built on three learning pillars, which are stimulated every day: Authenticity, Leadership, and Creativity. The programme allows students to develop their personal leadership potential and better access their creative potential in their professional and personal life.

 

Learning Objectives of the Programme

  • Being aware of personal leadership qualities
  • Learning to be both an authentic and people-centred leader
  • Understanding and acting on psychological needs in communication using preferred communication channels and perceptions
  • Understanding the true nature of a problem and its context
  • Knowing how to select and apply a number of creativity techniques
  • Learning to think visually and seek feedback for ideas

 

PROGRAMME ACADEMIC LEADER

The Programme is taught by Sabine Mueller PhD, a lecturer specialised in education and research on entrepreneurship, leadership and creativity for more than 15 years. Sabine also works as a Gestalt-therapist and personal development trainer and thus effectively combines theory and practice in her teaching.

Online Winter School

Administration fees: 80€

Tuition fees: 250€

In-person Winter School

Administration fees: 160€

Tuition fees: 500€

 

Around 20 students are expected to take part in the session, to allow sufficient group interaction as well as individual attention. Courses are open to admitted students on a first-come, first-served basis and will be closed when they are full.
