We are pleased to inform you that the Summer School of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada Students.

Both summer schools bring together students from all over the world in a truly international environment. The academic excellence of our summer courses is complemented by social and cultural events, as well as field trips, which are not offered during the regular fall and spring semesters.

Topics

Summer School of Economics and Business (27 June-22 July 2022): https://uamsseb.education/ Four of our regular courses of 6 ECTS credits, taught in English, in an intensive 4-week format (choose 1 or 2):

  1. Environmental Economics and Policy Analysis
  2. International Finance
  3. Global Marketing
  4. Doing Business in Spain

Multidisciplinary Approach to Climate Change (11-22 July or 27 June-22 July 2022): https://climate.enveco.es/ An intensive program that offers a multidisciplinary course, taught in English, in two versions:

  1. 3 ECTS credits: 2-week study program
  2. 6 ECTS credits: 4-week study program

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Submit the aforementioned documents needed via http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than February 28th, 2022 for OIA to nominate you to UAM.
  • Regarding COVID-19, please notice that all classes at UAM are fully face-to-face, and the COVID-19 situation in Spain is low risk. 
  • In the best-case scenario, if all restrictions are lifted, the wearing of masks may not be mandatory, and we will be able to hold all our traditional events off-campus. This seems the most likely scenario.
  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
