[South Korea] The ASEAN-Korea Youth Summit 2021

Greetings from The National Council of Youth Organizations Korea!

The National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK) is organizing the Voice of ASEAN-Korea Youths on 10-13 August 2021 through the zoom platform. as part of the side event leading to the ASEAN-Korea Youth Summit.

The Voice of ASAN-Korea Youths aims to create a platform for ASEAN-Korea youth to exchange opinions on the latest global issues and for the youth to have better insights on the issues from a subject-matter expert. NCYOK will provide a certificate of Participation to participants who successfully participate in the program. NCYOK and AUN Secretariat greatly appreciated your kind cooperation to promote this opportunity to students in your respective universities.

Eligibility

  • 3rd to 6th-semester undergraduate students (S1)
  • 3rd to 4th-semester graduate students (S2/S3)
  • Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program

Required Documents

  1. Curriculum Vitae
  2. Motivation Letter
  3. Official Academic Transcript
  4. Colored Copy of Passport
  5. English language proficiency  (Min. Score of TOEFL – ITP=550, iBT 79 or IELTS 6.0)
  6. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download)

Application Procedure

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form:http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than June 10th, 2021 for internal review.
  1. OIA staff will evaluate your application.
  2. Once you are selected as Nominated Student, OIA will send your official nomination to the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat and you may proceed to the online application 
  3. The FINAL decision from the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
  • Application of outgoing mobility for spring/even semester in AY 2020/2021 will be processed but the implementation/execution will carefully consider the latest development of COVID-19 and government’s regulation.
