Sichuan University is a high level research-oriented institution with a national priority in Western China’s development. It is directly subordinated by the administration of the Ministry of Education. It is and has always been committed to providing a stellar education and excels in the field of bringing strong rapports between faculty members and its students along with upgrading the quality of its teaching curriculum. The Sichuan University “The Belt and Road” scholarship is available to students from countries along the “The Belt and Road” region , as well as students from countries along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide international students the opportunity to experience China’s flourishing culture while obtaining or making progress on their degree with a goal to promote cooperation, inclusiveness and mutual understanding between China and other countries.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for The Sichuan University “The Belt and Road” Scholarship is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
- Who can apply: students who are working towards their Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD’s degree
- Scholarship details: RMB 20,000 per annum for Undergraduate students and full scholarship for Graduate and Doctorate students
- When to apply: April 1st – May 30th, 2021
