[Turkey] Selçuk University – Mevlana Exchange Program 2020

Greetings from Selçuk University, Turkey!

Selcuk University, which has been contributing to the future of Turkey for more than 40 years in the capital of the Selcuk Civilization, is a higher education institution that endeavors to educate “enlightened” individuals who respect their national and spiritual values. It engages in activities to contribute to the goals of its country with the mission of “educating individuals who raise an awareness as a just and reliable university which is science-driven, institutionalized, enterprising and innovative for competitive superiority, has social responsibility, respects the environment; conducts researches aimed at sustainable development and safeguards public interest in all of its services”.

We are pleased to inform you that the Application for Mevlana Exchange Program 2020 at Selçuk University is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

The scholarship is offered for this program. The Scholarship will provide:
1. Living Allowance
2. Travel Expenses to and from Turkey

Note:
Tuition fees are waived based on Selçuk University Agreement with Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Eligibility

  • 3rd to 6th-semester undergraduate students (S1)
  • 3rd to 4th-semester graduate students (S2/S3)
  • UGM Teaching Staffs in the Department of Chemistry/Biology/Agricultural Economy of UGM
  • Enrolled in the Department of Chemistry/Biology/Agricultural Economy at Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program (for students only)

For Students

  1. Application Form (download)
  2. Personal Data Sharing and Communication Permission Form (download)
  3. Curriculum Vitae
  4. Motivation Letter
  5. Letter of Enrollment from Faculty
  6. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)
  7. Official Academic Transcript
  8. Colored Copy of Passport
  9. English language proficiency certificate (Min. Score of TOEFL – ITP=550, iBT 80 or IELTS 6.0)
  10. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download)

For Teaching Staffs

  1. Application Form for Academic Staff Mobility Program  (download)
  2. English language proficiency certificate
  3. Curriculum Vitae and Academic Portfolio
  4. Colored Copy of Passport
  5. Letter of Nomination/Recommendation from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)

Application Procedure

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to the Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur F-13) for internal review.
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application.
  3. Once you are selected as Nominated Student, OIA will send your official nomination to Selçuk University and for host-university selection.
  4. The FINAL decision from Selçuk University and the Turkish Higher Council.
Please send all documents above in 1 hard copy to the Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur Block F-13) and 1 softcopy *(Combined in 1 PDF Format) to email: scholarship@ugm.ac.id no later than March 10th, 2020.
