[Hungary] Eötvös Loránd University – Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2017

Stipendium Hungaricum, founded by the Hungarian government and to the degree programs offered to international students within the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary. The Stipendium Hungaricum Program aims to promote cultural understanding, economic and cultural relations between Hungary and other countries.
ELTE (founded in 1635) is the leading research university in Hungary. It is the most popular higher education institution among applicants as well as alma mater of five Nobel laureates and leading figures in technology, public policy, and culture in Hungary. ELTE has been participating in the program since 2013/2014 and currently there are almost three hundred Stipendium Hungaricum students from 42 different countries already who study in 38 degree programs fully in English at six faculties.

The NTUST International degree programs include programs for a master’s degree, dual degree, PhD, and post doctoral research(by agreement). Every year we admit more than 300 international students and reasearchers to study in our wide range of disciplines. As NTUST students, you will be able to apply for financial support or scholarships, take classes that meet your major & minor requirements, study with experts in their field, get involved in advance research, and gain more opportunities for a brighter future.
Start from year 2017, Dual Degree Program (DDP) applicants to Taiwan Tech must apply for this program through the “New” online application system. The applicants will need to provide a referee who must be able to confirm the applicants’ eligibility to apply for this program. The referee can be a staff or a professor from home university or Taiwan Tech. The application will not be consider if we do not receive response from the referee by deadline.
Application period: Feb 15th to March 31, 2017

In the French language track, students take classes at one of six levels adapted to their knowledge of the French language.  In the social sciences track, students choose one core class for intensive study. Edukindo bekerja sama dengan Kantor Urusan Internasional UGM mengundang seluruh civitas akademika Universitas Gadjah Mada, untuk menghadiri Info Session: UK University Masters and PhD Fair  yang akan membahas tentang kesempatan studi maupun tawaran beasiswa di Inggris Raya. Terdapat 8 universitas dari UK yang berpartisipasi, yaitu, University of Bradford; Cardiff University; Durham University; Harper Adams University; University of Wales Trinity Saint David; Swansea University dan University of East London.

Pengunjung berkesempatan untuk bertemu dan berinteraksi secara langsung dengan representatif dari masing-masing universitas. Setiap universitas biasanya menawarkan beasiswa.  Akan ada prize draw dengan hadiah utama IDR 1,000,000.

[Thailand] United Nations – 8th University Scholars Leadership Symposium (USLS) 2017

Humanitarian Affairs UK will host the 8th University Scholars Leadership Symposium (USLS) 2017 at United Nations, Bangkok in Thailand from August 1st to 7th 2017. The theme of the Symposium is “Building LIFE, Giving HOPE”. We are expecting about 900 emerging world leaders from the United Nations Member States to participate in this event which focuses on developing leaders to bring social change.
The USLS is a week-long Leadership Conference in Social Development for young leaders from all over the world. The purpose is to instil a sense of social responsibility as well as to cultivate the attributes of selfless giving among our emerging world leaders. The young participants will learn what it means to give back to the community and be challenged to respond to the needs of the marginalized with works of kindness and unconditional service. Delegates will have the opportunity to expand their professional network and understanding of world affairs. They will be motivated to use their knowledge and leadership skills to impact the communities in need.
