Short Courses

Return to OEX

As the name suggests, short courses are study programmes that students can finish in a short period of time. It is especially designed for academics to master a certain set of skills, explore new interests, or obtain certain knowledge flexibly within a limited timeframe. Generally, these courses take place during certain periods of a season, such as summer or fall programs, but it may also be conducted at any given time during the academic year. Different kinds of short course focuses are available: culture, technology, social, and others. All of these are available in various durations, so students can pick and see which one suits you the most.

These courses are a great way to broaden a student’s horizons and develop new skills without needing to invest the same amount of time and dedication required to finish a full-time degree or other higher study programmes. When students finish their short course, they can immediately jump back to your previous regular study program without major disturbances. They are simply one of the best ways to make the most of the available time students have while pursuing their degree in university.

Short courses will also give students deeper insights into a world of culture and diversity that they perhaps have never encountered before as they exchange stories and experiences with each other. They are a popular way among students to enhance their learning experience while also building a strong network with people from diverse backgrounds, especially with internationally conducted short courses. These courses will also unlock a whole new world of future possibilities as students get in contact with many professionals that they may not be able to encounter in their home university.

Seeing as short courses are guaranteed to benefit you in the long run, why hesitate? Register yourself in available short courses now!
