[Japan] Chiba University – Cool Japan Program 2017

This short term program for overseas students is designed to give opportunities explore contemporary “JAPAN” during your vacation. Through taking part in this program, you can learn about many aspects of Japan, and experience both traditional and the most modern Japanese culture.  Participants can not only take some interesting lectures by an expert of each theme, but can also join exciting activities, workshops and day trips.

PROGRAM OFFERED

“Japanese Pop Culture ~ Anime, Otaku, Kawaii characters ~”
You can learn the essence of Japanese pop culture from many aspects, for example, anime, manga, otaku and idol culture.  Nowadays, Japanese pop culture has spread and had a great influence all over the world. Participants will enjoy field trips to Akihabara, Harajuku or Nakano which are well known as entertainment and shopping spots. Also, you will get the latest knowledge by visiting museums and exhibitions of Japanese animation, publishing and high tech robots.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1) You may apply and join the program individually through the website.
3) Once you are selected as Nominated Student, you must report yourself to office of international affairs UGM.
4) FINAL decision from Chiba University.
