The Temasek Foundation International Leadership Enrichment and Regional Networking (TFI LEaRN) Programme @ NUS is a programme that aims to nurture the next generation of Asian leaders by providing opportunities for cultural exchange, networking, community engagement and leadership development to students during their exchange at NUS. The Temasek Foundation International Leadership Enrichment and Regional Networking (TFI LEaRN) Programme @ NUS nurtures the next generation of Asian leaders by providing opportunities for cultural exchange, networking, community engagement and leadership development.
Students who are nominated by their home universities in Southeast Asia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan are eligible to apply.

PLACE AND DATE
The programme takes place at NUS during the students’ exchange in Semester 1 (August – December 2017).
PROGRAM OFFERED
- Academic courses
Students will take 3 – 4 modules in NUS and must obtain a minimum overall Cumulative Average Point (CAP) of 3.0 out of 5.0 during their exchange in NUS. - Community Involvement
Students are required to spend a minimum of 15 hours on at least one community involvement project in Singapore. - Host Programme
Students will be hosted by NUS TFI LEaRN scholars. Students can also consider joining the Host Family Programme and the Student Buddy Programme offered by the Office of Student Affairs and the faculties. Do note that home-stay is optional. - TFI LEaRN activities
All TFI LEaRN activities are compulsory. These include the Introductory Briefing, Temasek Learning Journey, Service Learning Workshop and TFI LEaRN Young Asian Leaders Forum. Students are required to help organise the events, when called upon by the International Relations Office (IRO). The events will be held in Singapore.
SCHOLARSHIP
The award quantum for AY16/17 is S$6,500
The award will be disbursed in two installments, upon satisfactory completion of the programme.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1) Submit the aforementioned documents to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur F-13) for internal review.
2) OIA staffs will evaluate your application.
3) Once you are selected as Nominated Student, you may continue apply online to National University of Singapore as for host university selection.
4) FINAL decision from National University of Singapore.
Please send all documents above in 2 COPIES to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur Block F-13) no later than March 13, 2017.
