The Academy of Hong Kong Studies (AHKS) of The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) extends a warm invitation to students and staff from institutions around the world to visit and gain original insights into two of Asia’s great east-west cities. Join the Academy’s inaugural International Summer School to learn about and experience fascinating Hong Kong and Macau. The only two Special Administrative Regions in China, both cities have a cross-cultural heritage and distinctive way of life. Yet each has taken a unique path down the centuries to today. In line with Hong Kong and Macau’s inclusive outlook, the “International Summer School 2016” brings together HKIEd students and participants from overseas, enabling a mutually beneficial sharing of perspectives and paving the way for longer-term ties.
About International Summer School 2016 (ISS 2016)
The International Summer School 2016 is an annual event hosted by AHKS. The ISS 2016 will engage you in a 10-day study package taking place in Hong Kong and Macau. You will come across a series of lectures and field visits led by renowned faculty from The Hong Kong Institute of Education and The University of Macau.
