[South Korea] KNU Online Winter Program 2021

Greetings from Kangwon National University, South Korea!

Kangwon National University (KNU) was established in 1947 in Chuncheon, Gangwon-Do, South Korea. Initially established as an agricultural college, Kangwon National University has steadily expanded to a comprehensive university encompassing a full spectrum of academic fields. Kangwon National University serves as the flagship educational institution of Gangwon-do.

We are pleased to announce that Kangwon National University is offering the 2021 Online KNU Winter Program for Universitas Gadjah Mada Students. This program gathers students who are interested in South Korea and its culture, along with many other students from around the world.

General Information

  • Please note that lectures will be offered in English on Zoom. (Must students have a working microphone, camera, and audio system.)
  • You will get an online application link from KNU after you have been nominated by your home university.
  • You are required to participate diligently in all lectures and programs.
  • You will earn 2 university credits through this course
  • Please apply for a ‘Culture Day’ presentation if you want to introduce your country or show your talent.

Eligibility

  • Enrolled as Universitas Gadjah Mada students during the program
  • Proficient in English and interested in Korean language and culture

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. Submit your aforementioned documents through http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than December 20th, 2021 for internal review.
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to Kangwon National University and you may proceed to the online application.
  3. The FINAL decision from the Kangwon National University.
