Greetings from Nara Women’s University, Japan!
Established in 1908, Nara Women’s University is one of two national women’s universities in Japan, along with Ochanomizu University. Nara Women’s University (NWU) was originally created to foster women who can succeed in society through education and research. Until now, most of the students and professors there are women as well. As in 2013, NWU has three faculties that focus on humanities and sciences.
Instead of the usual winter program, Nara Women’’s University will conduct an online program “YAE-ZAKURA 2021-2022” this winter. This shift can enable international students to participate from his/her school or home. The YAE-ZAKURA program offers introductory Japanese history classes, interactions with NWU students, and various cultural learning experiences through lectures taught by professors invited from institutions in the Kansai area.
We are pleased to inform you that the Application for YAE-Zakura by Nara Women’s University (NWU) Short Course 2021/2022 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
