Greetings from India!

Ashoka University is India’s premier Liberal Arts and Sciences University, located in the Delhi NCR capital region in India. It is pioneer in its focus on providing a liberal arts education at par with the best in the world.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the Ashoka University Summer Courses 2026 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

AVAILABLE COURSES & RESOURCES

  • Inside the World’s Fastest-Growing Economy
  • Asia’s Emerging Start-Up Powerhouse
  • From Ancient Civilization to Global Power

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Two-week intensive academic courses in July 2026.
  • Field trips and experiential learning components connected to the course themes.
  • On-campus accommodation and meals at Ashoka’s residential campus are included.

 

ELIGIBILITY & FEES

  • Active Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students at UGM.
  • Program Fee: 3,000 USD (covers tuition, on-campus accommodation, and meals).
  • Funding: A few scholarship spots are available directly through Ashoka University for highly qualified candidates.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Apply directly to Ashoka University via the specific course links provided above.
  2. The deadline is [Please check the respective Ashoka course websites for exact dates].
  3. The FINAL decision is from Ashoka University.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
