The Embassy of France in Indonesia, Timor Leste, and ASEAN is pleased to invite UGM scholars to participate in Science et Impact 2026, a program aimed to complement your project by providing flexible, responsive, and accessible funding to support science and technology cooperation
Aiming to strengthen or initiate collaborations between French institutions and Indonesian or Timor Leste institutions, this program covers a variety of of needs, including but not limited to:
- Scientific conferences
- Dissertation defenses
- Internships
- Seminars
- Surveys/questionnaires,
- Translations
- Equipments
Benefits and Funding Support
Each project has the opportunity to receive funding of up to 10,000 euros, with an average funding of around 3,500 euros per project since October 2016. This grant will be disbursed to a legally recognized institution in France, without the need for a formal agreement due to the unilateral nature of the funding.
Key Criteria
- Projects must demonstrate tangible outputs, such as scientific publications, journal articles, or impactful research results.
- Projects are expected to strengthen or initiate collaborations between French institutions and institutions in Indonesia or Timor Leste.

- Deadline: February 19, 2026

- Please note that only one call session will be open in 2026. One application per project will be accepted. Once submitted, applications cannot be changed or cancelled.
