The Seoul Scholarship Foundation, established in 2010, is committed to identifying and supporting talented students across Seoul by providing scholarships to those facing financial hardship. Guided by the belief that education is a fundamental right and civic responsibility, the Foundation promotes equitable access to quality education. Through its initiatives, it seeks to empower students with limited resources to achieve their academic goals and develop into future leaders.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for 2026 Seoul Tech Scholarship by Seoul Metropolitan Government Economic Development Cooperation Fund is now open.

Program Announcement

 

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

  • Designed to support outstanding students from all countries in completing master’s programs at graduate schools in Seoul. The program aims to nurture talented individuals who will contribute to the city’s future industries.
  • Field of Selection: Master’s programs in science and engineering (STEM) at nine universities in Seoul (Konkuk University, Kyung Hee University, Korea University, Sogang University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul National University, University of Seoul, Sungkyunkwan University, Soongsil University).
  • Support Period: Up to two years (renewable every six months after program commencement)
  • Support Details: Full tuition coverage for the master’s program (admission and tuition fees), academic incentives (living expenses, health insurance
    premiums, airfare).

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Neither the applicant nor either parent is a Korean national.
  • Bachelor’s degree holders (or expected graduates) aged 40 or under.
  • ​Aims to pursue a master’s program in fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in Korea.
  • Minimum GPA 80% ( 2.64/4.0) or higher

  2. The deadline is 06 March 2026.
  3. Final decision is from Seoul Metropolitan Government.
