Samara National Research University (Samara University) is one of the leading Russian universities, highly-regarded not only in Russia but abroad. Samara University trains specialists in rocket and space engineering, aviation, radio electronics, metallurgy, the automotive industry, the information-and-communication industry, and other fields.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the Winter International University School 2025, Samara University Program is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

Application Guidelines

 

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

• Winter University of Engineering Sciences is an international project for those who want to turn ideas into reality and receive a high-quality education. In cooperation with Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation, Samara National Research University welcomes bachelor students of tech-specializtion the programs:

  – Design and construction of unmanned aircraft systems
  – Aerospace Systems Engineering

 

FINANCIAL TERMS

• Participation in the project is free. If your application is approved, the host will cover:
  • Travel (round trip).
  • Accommodation, meals.
  • Excursions within the framework of the project.

 

ELIGIBILITY

• Bachelor’s students (3-4 years) studying at not Russian universities in engineering fields can participate in the project.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Motivational Video
• Register on the website
• A colored scanned passport
• An academic transcript
• Portfolio of achievements

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Apply directly to Samara University. Kindly refer to the website.
2. The deadline is 30 September 2025.
3. The FINAL decision is from Samara University. 

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Submitting an application does not guarantee participation in the project.
• Participants are determined based on the results of a competitive selection.
• In-person participation is mandatory; if you cannot attend all dates, you should not submit an application.
• This is not a tourist trip. Participants must be prepared for an intensive study program.
