Toyo University is a private university located in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. Established in 1887, it is one of the oldest private universities in Japan. Toyo University offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields of study, including humanities, social sciences, business administration, law, economics, science and engineering, information sciences, and international studies.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for Toyo University Summer Program 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
PROGRAM INFORMATION

The program includes intensive Japanese language for absolute beginners and culture classes.

Participants will have the chance to learn with Toyo University Japanese students in interactive classes.

Toyo University has organized a field trip to Mt. Fuji with Toyo students lined up for students to understand its environmental issues and SDGs better.
- The participation fee after the discount is 221,000 yen (about $1,500).
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Apply directly to Toyo University. Kindly refer to this application form.
- The deadline is 15 June 2025.
- The FINAL decision is from Toyo University.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
