Toyo University is a private university located in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. Established in 1887, it is one of the oldest private universities in Japan. Toyo University offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields of study, including humanities, social sciences, business administration, law, economics, science and engineering, information sciences, and international studies.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for Toyo University Bussiness Japanese Special Courses 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

 

PROGRAM INFORMATION

1. Spring Business Japanese Special Courses

In this course, you will learn about the Japanese language, cultural knowledge, manners, and skills required in business situations.

This is a valuable opportunity to learn from experts in each field about carefully selected topics. It also includes preparation for the “BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test” (Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation), which is a great help for international students in their job hunting activities. If you plan to take the BJT, this course will be great use to you.

Program periode: 18 – 23 February 2025 (6 days, 14 course)

Delivery: Online, Zoom

Target: International students or employees with Japanese. Proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above

Capacity: 1,000 participants per lecture (first-come-first-served basis)

Fee: Free

Application deadline: Registration for each course is available until the day before it starts.

2. Spring Business Japanese Advance Courses

Toyo University offer an Advanced Business Japanese course intending to acquire a higher level of business Japanese language proficiency. Each course is designed for those with Japanese language proficiency of N1 (JLPT) or J2 (BJT) or higher, and deals specifically with the language and cultural knowledge required in actual business situations.

Period: 27 February 27 2025 to 1 March 2025(3 days, 6 courses)

Delivery: Online, Zoom

Target: International students or employees with Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPTN1, J2(BJT) or above.

Capacity: 1,000 participants per lecture (first-come-first-served basis)

Fee: 1.000 yen/ course

Application deadline: Registration for each course is available until the day before its tarts.

3. Business Japanese Proficiency Test Preparation Course

This course aims to pass the BJT Japanese Language Proficiency Test at the J2 level. Through problem-solving exercises, participants will acquire the socio-cultural knowledge necessary for working in Japanese society and enhance their comprehensive business Japanese language skills. The classes will use original mock questions from Toyo University, familiarizing participants with the format of questions similar to the BJT Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Explanation will be provided to help participants understand the points and lead them to the correct answers independently.

Period: 20 March 2025  to 22 March 2025 (3 days, 6 courses)

Format: Online, organized over Zoom

Delivery: International students or foreign employees with Japanese language proficiency equivalent to N2.

Capacity: 1,000 participants per lecture (first-come-first-served basis)

Fee: 1.000 yen/ course

Application deadline: Registration for each course is available until the day before its tarts.
