The University of Pécs, founded in 1367, is one of the largest universities in Hungary. The University of Pécs is truly an internationalized university with 5,200 international students from 140 countries. The University of Pécs begans the international education programs 40 years ago and has become one of the most internationalized universities in the region. It has received various international and national awards for our efforts toward internationalization of education, including the EAIE 2021 Award for Excellence in Internationalization.Pécs, our gorgeous, very vivid, 2000-year-old historical city and former European Capital of Culture is an ideal place for the students who would like to immerse in the European culture and make friends with students from all over the world.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for University of Pécs – Semester-Long Study Abroad Program 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
The University of Pécs offers a wide range of semester/year-long, high quality Study Abroad Programs for the incoming international students that explore different topics in the fields of Architecture, Business Administration, Applied Management, Psychology, International Relations, English and American Studies, Social Work, Education (Pedagogy BA), Communications and Media, Human Resource Counselling, Legal Issues in an International Context, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramic Design, Classical Music Performance, Natural Sciences on BSc level and Physical Training. All these programs are taught in English.
ELIGIBILITY
- Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
- Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Be proficient in English

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than 1 May 2025 for internal review.
- OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to University of Pécs and you may proceed to the online application no later than 15 May 2025.
- The FINAL decision is from University of Pécs.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
