[Funding Oppurtunities] Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) Actions 2025

Greetings from the European Commission!

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are the European Union’s reference programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) represent a flagship program within the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation framework, aimed at fostering excellence in research and facilitating international, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary collaboration. MSCA provides vital funding opportunities to individuals at all career stages, empowering them to pursue cutting-edge scientific endeavors.

 

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) Actions 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

 

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

 

  • MSCA Staff Exchanges 2024 & 2025

MSCA Staff Exchanges involve organisations from the academic and non-academic sectors (including SMEs) from across the globe.

Support is provided for international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility of R&I staff, leading to knowledge transfer between participating organisations.

  • MSCA COFUND 2025

Co-funding of regional, national and international programmes (COFUND) supports new or existing doctoral programmes and postdoctoral fellowship schemes.

The aim of the action is to spread the best practices of the MSCA including international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary research training, as well as international and cross-sectoral mobility of researchers at all stages of their career.

COFUND takes the form of Doctoral Programmes or Postdoctoral Programmes.

  • MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025

MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships will be open to excellent researchers of any nationality.

  • MSCA Doctoral Networks 2025

MSCA Doctoral Networks will implement doctoral programmes, by partnerships of universities, research institutions and research infrastructures, businesses including SMEs, and other socio-economic actors from different countries across Europe and beyond.

  • MSCA and Citizens: European Researchs’ Night and Researchs at Schools 2026-2027

MSCA and Citizens aims to bring research and researchers closer to the public at large, to increase awareness of research and innovation activities and to boost public recognition of science and research education. 

The European Researchers’ Night is the largest research communication and promotion event taking place across EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries, attended by over 1.5 million people every year.

The Researchers at Schools initiative aims to strengthen the connection between research and education, by bringing researchers to schools and other pedagogical and educational centres to encourage interaction with pupils at all levels of primary and secondary education.
