We are pleased to inform you that the application for Climate Change Summer School 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

  • Multidisciplinary Curriculum: The CCSS provides a rich, cross-disciplinary perspective on climate change. Courses are taught by experts from fields such as Art, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Geography, Humanities, Law, Physics, Political Science, and Sociology.
  • Global Networking: Connect with an international community, establishing lasting connections with peers worldwide.
  • Academic and Cultural Exploration: Enjoy academic visits, cultural excursions, and social events, adding depth to the learning experience.
  • Self-Discovery: Participate in group discussions, real-world problem-solving, and other engaging activities designed to inspire personal growth.
  • Tuition Fee Reductions: Significant discounts are offered for early applications and students from partner universities.
  • Program Extension Option

    In addition to the standard two-week program, students have the option to extend their experience with a 4-Week Program (6 ECTS credits) from June 30 to July 25, 2025. This extended program includes the choice of one additional course:

    1. Skills Summer School – Ideal for students looking to improve writing and speaking skills essential to academic and professional success.
    2. Environmental Economics and Policy Analysis – Organized by UAM’s Summer School of Economics and Business, this course offers an in-depth view of economic policies related to environmental challenges.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
