Macquarie University is a renowned public research university located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1964, it is named after Governor Lachlan Macquarie, a significant figure in the early development of Australia. The university’s main campus is situated in the suburb of Macquarie Park, about 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) north-west of Sydney’s city center.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for Macquarie University Exchange Program 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Unit: Students can mix and match 3 to 4 available units (30-40 credit points) to suit specific academic interests and ambitions for each exchange session
- Online Unit: Students can study up to one-third of the units online
- Additional Program: Take part in the GLP and complete a Global Leadership Certificate at no additional cost
ELIGIBILITY
- Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
- Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Be proficient in English

- Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than 1 October 2024 (Session 1) and 1 April 2024 (Session 2) for internal review.
- OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to Macquarie University and you may proceed to the online application no later than 31 October 2024 (Session 1) and 30 April 2024 (Session 2)
- The FINAL decision is from Macquarie University.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
