[Austria] ASEA-UNINET – Ernst Mach Grants 2024

Greetings from ASEA-Uninet Team!

ASEA-UNINET supports the exchange of knowledge between partner universities in the member countries in Europe and South-East Asia. The main activity of the network is the organization and financial support of the exchange of scientists and postgraduates and the transfer of knowledge associated with this. The funding is organized by the OeAD-GmbH/MPC in cooperation with ASEA-UNINET (on behalf of and financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research – BMBWF).

We are pleased to inform you that the application for ASEA-Uninet Ernst Mach Grants 2024 is now open.

TYPES OF GRANTS

  1. Postdoctoral (Research Grants): Duration max. 3-9 months with 1,250 Euro grant benefit
  2. Full PhD (Research Grants): Grant for a complete PhD programme in Austria max. 36 months with 1,250 Euro grant benefit and 300 Euro monthly mobility subsidy
  3. Music: Grant for a study stay in a music practice max. 9 months with 1,250 Euro grant benefit
  4. Scholarship holders may receive a travel cost subsidy of max. 1,000 Euro

 

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Postgraduate or Doctoral Degree (or equivalent degree) who have obtained a master degree (including master thesis) in various fields (including Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Human Medicine, Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts); or Undergraduates or Graduates in the music practice (only)
  2. Maximum. 35 years for Undergraduates, Graduates, and Postgraduates, and 45 years for Postdoctoral
  3. Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
  4. Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  5. Be proficient in English and/or German

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to ASEA-UNINET online application no later than 1 March 2024.
  2. The FINAL decision is from the ASEA-UNINET.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id
