Showa Women’s University (Showa Joshi Daigaku) is a private women’s university located in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. Established in 1920, the university has a long-standing history and is dedicated to providing women with quality education and fostering their personal and professional growth.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for Showa Women’s University Summer Program 2024 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

SWU SUMMER INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM (SSIP) 2024

  • Location: Japan
  • Duration: 3 weeks (18 June to 3 July 2024)
  • Flyer and Website
  • Submit the documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than 5 March 2024 for internal review.
  • OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to Showa Women’s University and you may proceed to the online application no later than 15 March 2024.
  • The FINAL decision is from Showa Women’s University.

 

ONLINE JAPANESE LANGUAGE PROGRAM 2024

This 1-month online program, offering twelve 120-minute class sessions, will be an excellent opportunity for your introductory-level Japanese students to enhance their communication skills in Japanese. The program will be taught by experienced SWU teachers, and SWU Japanese students will also come to some of the classes to assist in conversation practices.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id
