[Conference/Event] Regional Preliminary Round and Regional Final Round followed by the Global GLEC Conference

Greetings from the Hope to the Future Association!

Global Leadership English Challenge is an English speech/essay contest for the youth worldwide on the subject of the United Nations and international issues. Starting from 2012, we are calling on the participation of the youth by selecting the theme of competition as the annual UN agenda and desirable targets for everyone in the world. GLEC starts from Regional Preliminary Round and Regional Final Round followed by the Global GLEC Conference (https://gleader.org/ggc) all online-based at https://gleader.org/. The past project, GLEC Vietnam, has included students from more than 10 countries including China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and so on.

We ask for your cooperation in the promotion of this contest among students, so that students can participate and enhance their mutual understandings of such international issues online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We invite students from 4th grade to the undergraduate from all nations to where the winners will have the opportunity to learn from UN high officials, scholars, and ambassadors, expecting to create a synergy between the professionals and the youth. For GLEC India, students holding an Indian nationality will be considered as Domestic and the others will be considered as International, and the evaluation will be made as distinguished.

Concept Note GLEC India 2021

Student Nominees will:

  1. Applicants can choose from two applying categories: Normal Applicant and Student Nominee.
  2. Be waived a participation fee ($30) for the preliminary round.
  3. Automatically qualified for the final round once they submit their files.

Application Process:

  • Step 1: Download the “Nomination Request Form” and “Student Nomination Form“ below.
  • Step 2: Send the filled/signed form to the GLEC India Secretariat (glec@hopetofuture.org) for admission.
  • Step 3: GLEC India Secretariat will reply within 2~3 working days with individual Nomination No. for each student.
  • Step 4: Provide the Nomination No. to your students.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Online registration period open by 2021/11/15 until 2021/12/17
  • Submit the aforementioned documents needed via http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than December 17th, 2021 for OIA to nominate you to GLEC.
  • The FINAL decision of participants is from Global Leadership English Challenge.
