[Short Course] JICA Innovative Asia Online Short-Term Program

Greetings from Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE)!

We are Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), the implementing agency designated by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for “Innovative Asia online short-term program”. We appreciate you, the Innovative Asia students and the Partner universities, your cooperation in the Innovative Asia long-term program.

While it has become difficult to carry out the Innovative Asia short-term program in Japan due to the spread of COVID-19, we are pleased to inform you that all the program will be conducted online as Career Development Program and Internship Program as a replacement.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for JICA Innovative Asia Online Short Term Program is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

Objectives

  • To provide them the opportunity to experience the actual cutting-edge Japanese industry and research sites, and activate research exchanges with Japanese companies and research institutes
  • To arouse their interest in doing research/study in Japan or working at a Japanese company in their future career
  • To make them think about the better research exchanges and contributions from the perspective of promoting innovation throughout Asia

*The contents of the briefing session are the same on both days.

  • Send your application no later than November 30th, 2021
  • Regarding the application for the internship, please be advised that the approval from the person in charge of your university is required.
  • The FINAL decision of participants is from Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE). No nomination needed from OIA UGM. But if you need a nomination letter from Universitas Gadjah Mada, please submit your aforementioned documents through http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication
