Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is an Indonesian public ivy league research university located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, founded on December 19, 1949. UGM is the oldest and largest institution of higher learning in Indonesia. Located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, the 360-acre university comprises 18 faculties, 68 undergraduate study programs, 23 diploma study programs, 104 master and specialist study programs, and 43 Doctorate study programs. It has approximately 55,000 students, 1,187 foreign students, and 2,500 faculty members currently. Universitas Gadjah Mada has been considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in Indonesia.

We are pleased to inform you that the Indonesian Language and Culture Learning Service (INCULS) Program of Universitas Gadjah Mada is now open for incoming international students.

Important Dates for Regular Program

  • Online Registration: November 1st, 2021 – January 2nd, 2022
  • Administration Selection: January 3rd-6th, 2022
  • Academic Selection: January 7th-12nd January 2022
  • Payment: January 18th, 2022
  • Letter of Acceptance: January 21st, 2022
  • INCULS Placement Test: January 25th, 2022
  • Placement Test Announcement: January 27th, 2022
  • Class Period: February 14th-June, 10th, 2022

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • INCULS is still offering online classes as this information published. However, the possibility for offline classes will be updated following the UGM policy responding to the Indonesian Government reopening policy for International students.
