Greetings from Multimedia University!
Multimedia University, abbreviated as MMU, is the oldest and first ever full-fledged private research undergraduate-focused university in Malaysia and a government-linked university as it is owned by Telekom Malaysia. The university has three campuses, located in Malacca, Selangor, and Johor. Among the very few Malaysian private universities which has multiple campuses. The university hosts ten faculties and Institute of Postgraduate Studies.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for MMU Exchange Programme in Spring 2022 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
You’re welcome to experience and explore our full range of courses offered by various departments at MMU. The courses have been designed in a hybrid model, such that the lessons can take place in-person, fully online or a mix of both, depending on the circumstances and ability to travel at the time of the study.
MMU Exchange Program Factsheet and Course List
Eligibility
- Undergraduate students (S1) 3rd-7th semester
- Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
- Be proficient in English. Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least TOEFL ITP 550, TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5.
- Preferably CGPA 3.0 and above.

- Curriculum Vitae
- Official Academic Transcript record (issued in English)
- Study Plan
- A recommendation letter from an academic supervisor
- Letter of Enrollment from Faculty
- Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)
- 3.5cm * 4.5cm color photo of the face (front view on white background only)
- Scanned copy of Passport (1st page until last page) or National ID Card (for Virtual Mobility)
- Evidence of English Language proficiency
- Confirmation Letter of Participation (download)
Application Procedures
- Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than December 15th, 2021 for internal review.
- OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination to MMU and you may proceed to the Online Application.
- After being nominated, you can register via https://forms.gle/8cBb3XVvj1yg9uWm8
- The FINAL decision is from Multimedia University
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The implementation/execution of this program will be carefully reconsidered depends on the latest development of COVID-19 and the government’s regulation
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
