We are pleased to inform you that the application for the #CONVERGE3 Short Program at Singapore University of Social Sciences is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

 

Program Description

With the success of #CONVERGE2  program in December 2020, the Centre for Experiential Learning would like to extend an invitation to students from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) to join its third run — #CONVERGE3. This program will be held virtually from 13 – 24 September 2021. The program aims to embark on a virtual journey to transform our world through the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. SUSS is calling all undergraduates to work collaboratively on a social impact business project with local social entrepreneurs and communities in Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Moreover, there are full scholarships available for students in ASEAN and China up to 40 places.

Highlights of the program:

  • Embark on virtual tours to all 4 countries: Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
  • Hands on SDG workshops.
  • Conduct live investigation with communities and people, apply design thinking to real problem statements, & receive mentorship from the social entrepreneurs.
  • Receive live feedback from the community.
  • Collaborate and make friends with undergraduates from multiple nationalities.

 

Application Procedures

  • To get a recommendation letter from UGM for the scholarship application, submit all the documents that you have uploaded to the online application  to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication.
  • The FINAL decision from Singapore University of Social Sciences.
