Greetings from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia!

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) is a public university based in Shah Alam, Malaysia, which only accepts bumiputera. It was established to assist rural Malay in 1956 as the RIDA Training Center (RIDA Training Council) (Melayu: RIDA Training Council), and was opened with around 50 students. Since then it has grown to become the largest higher education institution in Malaysia measured by physical infrastructure, faculty and staff, and student enrollment.

The university consists of one main campus and 34 satellite campuses. It offers more than 500 programs taught in English that range from undergraduate to postgraduate level. The school hosts approximately 170,514 full-time and part-time bumiputera and international students. Postgraduate programs are open to international and bumiputera students but not to non-bumiputera.
