Warm greetings from Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages in Taiwan!

Wenzao University the Chinese First Bishop was appointed the University of Languages (formerly the Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages). Wenzao is renowned for its contribution to excellence in the teaching and study of international languages. Established in 1966 as “Wenzao Ursuline Junior College of Modern Languages” by the Sisters of the Roman Union of the Order of St. Ursula. Admission was only available for female students at the outset of its foundation. Wenzao first opened its doors to men in 1980. In 1980. In 1999, the College was formally reorganized and renamed in 2013 Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages Student Exchange Program for Fall 2021 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

Eligibility

  1. Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
  2. Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program

 

Required Documents

  1. 2 Two completed Application Form for Exchange Student with passport size photos attached to the form
  2. Curriculum Vitae
  3. Motivation Letter
  4. Two official copies of Official Academic Transcript record (issued in English)
  5. Study Plan (One A4 page: Purposes of Exchanging & Course Scheme)
  6. A recommendation letter from an academic supervisor
  7. Two official copies of Letter of Enrollment from your faculty.
  8. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)
  9. English Language Proficiency Certificate
  10. Copy of passport photo identification page
  11. Two 2’’x 2” (3.5cm x 4.5cm) head & shoulder photos in color
  12. All the document listed as required on the Application Form
  13. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download)

 

Application Procedures

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication and send hard copies of the documents to OIA UGM through courier service no later than June 1st, 2021 for internal review and nomination. 
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicants, OIA will confirm your official nomination and application to Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages for further selection.
  3. The FINAL decision from Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id).
  • Application of outgoing mobility in AY 2021/2022 will be processed but the implementation/execution will carefully consider the latest development of COVID-19 and government’s regulation.
