The Komodo dragon (Varanus Komodoensis) is the world’s largest living lizard which is restricted to only few island in Indonesia, which are part of Komodo National Park (Taman Nasional Komodo). Komodo is an apex predator, with adult lizards killing the largest ungulate prey found on the island that often equal or exceed its own body mass.
In this occasion One Health Collaborating Center UGM would like to invite you to join our 2019 Summer Course Program on Komodo.
This Summer Course is implemented to improve knowledge and skills in zoonotic disease identification with molecular techniques using One Health Approach to improve human health is closely related to animal health, especially wildlife about 75% of human diseases are animal origin. And most of them are from wild life.
