Exchange studentscan choose between the Type G and Type U programs.The Type G program is designed for graduate students. Type G participants will belong to one of the Graduate Schools which they applied for and be able to take various courses or conduct research under the guidance offaculty members. The Type U program is designed for undergraduate students to take various courses given in English and/orJapanese in the various Faculties in accordance with their English and/or Japanese language proficiency.

“Winter Seminar on Human Security Development and Energy Science” is co-organised by the Graduate School of Energy Science (GSES) of Kyoto University and the ASEAN University Network-Kyoto University (AUN-KU) Student Mobility Program toward Human Security Development. It is designed for undergraduate students to study the concept of Human Security Development (HSD) and Energy Science. The main theme of this seminar is energy science, which is an important issue for Human Security Development. The participating students are expected to expand and deepen their knowledge on human security development and energy science with the prospect of exploring solutions to technological, socio-economic and political issues, focusing on the Asian region. The seminar will offer lectures and class discussions as well as organised field trips and networking events.  Applicants from all fields are welcome.

Application Guideline: Call for TDR International Postgraduate Scholarship Master 3rd batch

Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for a place in the following full-time postgraduate programmes, with a focus on Implementation Research for the 2017-2018 academic year.
The scheme, which is provided by TDR, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases based at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, provides full scholarship (http://www.who.int/tdr/capacity/strengthening/postgraduate/en/). Only applicants from low and middle-income countries of WHO South-East Asia and West Pacific regions are eligible.

The training will be focused on courses relevant to a career in implementation research on infectious disease of poverty. Implementation research is a growing field that supports the identification of health system bottlenecks and approaches to address them, and is particularly useful in low- and middle- income countries where many health interventions do not research those who need them the most. The goal of this scheme is to enhance postgraduate training capacity and boost the number of researchers in low and middle- income countries.

Limited number of scholarships will be offered for the 2017/2018 academic year in the International Master Programme in Public Health, leading to a MPH degree (2 years duration). The programme is taught in English. Recipients will be enrolled as postgraduate students, and their careers will be tracked with the new TDR Global alumni and stakeholder platform that will be launched in the next year, providing ongoing monitoring of the impact of the programme, as well as networking and increased visibility opportunities for students.

Various participants are encouraged to join this course in order to enrich the discussion; from undergraduate, post graduate, professional, and also institutions. Not only participants will learn the necessary knowledge in class, but also they will do an excursion around Yogyakarta and Surakarta to do direct observation of smart city, village and region implementation in this area.
