Hanyang ERICA International Winter School 

Hanyang University ERICA Campus, modelled after Silicon Valley, is announcing a winter program that enables students to gain knowledge on Korea’s leading industries. This program provides opportunities for the students to experience Korean company at first hand and learn about Korea’s leading industry from Hanyang’s representative faculties.

With 3 different sessions, there is always a program that suits to your schedule
Session 1: Dec 25, 2016 – Jan 1, 2017
Session 2: Jan 15, 2017 – Jan 22, 2017
Session 3: Feb 5, 2017 – Feb 12, 2017
 

COMPANY VISITS

By joining HEIWS, you will get to visit world renowned companies such as Hyundai Motors, Samsung, Amore Pacific, etc.
 

5 LECTURES ON KOREA INDUSTRY

Lectures on Korea’s innovative industry will be conducted by Hanyang’s representative professors.
Earn 1 credit by taking these lectures!
 

ALL-IN ONE PROGRAM

Program fee USD 900 includes tuition, accommodation and meals.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Letter of Enrollment from faculty
• Official academic transcript
• Letter of Nomination from faculty  (*addressed to Head of Office of International Affairs, UGM)
• Curriculum Vitaé
• Colored copy of passport
• Letter of Recommendation from academic advisor
• Motivation Letter
• English language proficiency  (Min. Score of TOEFL – ITP=530, iBT 8.0 or IELTS 6.0)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1) Submit the aforementioned documents to Office of International Affairs, UGM (Bulaksumur F-13) for internal review.
2) OIA staffs will evaluate your application.
3) Once you are selected as Nominated Student, you may continue register online to Hanyang University as for host university selection.
3.a) Visit [http://www.hanyangwinter.com/erica/] and click on ‘Apply Now’
3.b) Create an online account  to complete the Application Form
3.c) After 10 working days, visit [http://www.hanyangwinter.com/erica/] and click on ‘Sign In’
3.d) Check the Bank Account Info, & the amount due on the Application page
3.e) Wire Transfer (T/T) the amount due
3.f) After 10 working days, the payment balance will appear on the Application page
4) FINAL decision from Hanyang University.

Deadline to do online registration to Hanyang University :
• First Session : December 4, 2016  (Payment by December 9, 2016)
• Second Session : December 25, 2016  (Payment by December 30, 2016)
• Third Session : January 6, 2017  (Payment by January 13, 2017)
