2nd Summercamp of Entrepreneurship in Ghent University

To participate students must have achieved at least 60 ECTS –credits, of which at least 30 in relevant domains (economics, business, entrepreneurship, innovation, prototyping, design thinking). The students need to submit their application form by which they have to prove they obtained the necessary ECTS-credits before June 15th 2016.

The amount of students is limited to 24.

Language requirements

The workshops in the Summer Camp are given in English. Attendees must be confident and demonstrate to the organisers of the Summer School that their English is of a high enough standard for them to be able to understand and follow arguments presented in written and spoken English at university level. It is possible that the main organizer(s) want to have a skype meeting with some students, before entering the program.
Credits

Please note that credits can only be awarded if you  are currently enrolled at a university college or university and if you already gained 60 credits.
Once you finished the Summer Camp, you will receive a certificate of 3 credits. With this certificate, you can go to your university to ask whether they accept this summer course into your curriculum.

Accommodation

Ghent Universty offers accomodation for the attendees who pay 499 EUR. There will be a room in the University Homes for every student.

Cancellation Policy

Ghent University reserves the right to cancel the course due to insufficient enrollment.

Cancellations before July 15th will be charged a penalty of 150 Euros for administrative costs.

No cancellations are allowed after June 15th 2015

 Visas

EU-students should have a valid passport or identity card for the whole period.

Please enquire as early as possible about visa requirements at a Belgian consulate. You should apply for a visa at the Belgian embassy or consulate in your home country.

Health insurance

Students are obliged to have valid health insurance for the entire duration of the program. High costs may occur in the case of illness due to missing or incomplete insurance coverage for Belgium and Europe. Therefore, please be sure that your health insurance at home is valid during your stay in Catalonia. Please note that our summer programme does not cover costs for medical treatment!

FEES

Thanks to a subsidy of Flanders Knowledge Area, we can can organize this seminar at a low cost for international participants.
499 EUR. This fee includes:
• Residential stay at University
• Access to all the seminar workshops.
• 1 day of excursions and trips in Ghent, including a dinner
• Travel costs (up to max 250 EUR per person)
Not included are: extra trips and excursions, meals & drinks are not included in the price.
The transport costs will be paid back up to a maximum of 250 EUR per student, if students can give in tickets.

  5. Recommendation letter from faculty and or from supervisior
  6. copy of passport
  7. English proficiency certificate (Toefl or IELTS)
