UGM students are invited to UTeM Global Outreach Program 2015 (UGoReach Program). This program exposes participants to the essence of Malaysia and within the two weeks stay in Melaka Malaysia, the participants will get to go through our special technical / entrepreneurship program, the participants will experience the real Malaysian countryside lifestyle through the Homestay Program with selected local families and the participants will also get the chance to explore the tropical rain forest at National Park in Pahang.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the history, the ecosystem of undisturbed rainforest in Malaysia, the nature, the cultures and the society of Malaysia, and will have a memorable experience. This UTeM Global Outreach Program will be from 3rd August until 18th August 2015. The registration is open from now until 30th June 2015. We would really appreciate it if the application form could reach us no later than 30th June 2015. Successful participants will be given notice by email no later than 15th July 2015.
Potential participants should submit (via email):
- Application form (to be downloaded from the webpage)
- Photocopy of passport (all pages including the blank ones)
- Passport sized photo
- Student’s Transcript
- Student’s Certificate
- Student’s Participation Letter (to be issued by the university)
In addition, concerning on the health insurance requirement, participants must submit a copy of their insurance policy as a proof of their own personal health insurance or we could assist them in obtaining temporary insurance for their two (2) weeks stay in Malaysia.
