Greetings from China!

The Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation invites Universitas Gadjah Mada students to participate in the inaugural China Youth Summit 2026. Held in Shenzhen, China, this international conference and innovation-based competition operates under the theme “Empowering Youth Leadership Through Innovation and Technology for a Sustainable Future.”

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the China Youth Summit 2026 is now open for UGM students.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Dates: 9–12 November 2026
  • Location: Shenzhen, China
  • Activities: Innovative Project Competition, collaborative sessions, leadership workshops, and project labs.
  • SDG Focus: Quality Education (4), Decent Work & Economic Growth (8), Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (9), Sustainable Cities and Communities (11), and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (16).

 

ELIGIBILITY & FEES

  • Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
  • Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
  • Funding: Please review the official program guidelines for detailed information regarding participation fees and potential Fully Funded scholarship tracks offered directly by YBB.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Apply directly to Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB)
  2. The deadline is 15 July 2025 (for the Fully Funded)
  3. The FINAL decision is from Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB)

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
