Greetings from Switzerland!

The Ureka-UNITAR Project Team invites Universitas Gadjah Mada students to join the UN-Certified International Project Programme (IPP). This world-class experiential learning program allows students to tackle real-world UN challenges, earn an official UNITAR certificate, and represent their institution on the international stage.

We are pleased to inform you that applications for the UNITAR IPP & AI Bridge Program 2026 are now open.

PROGRAM TRACKS Students may choose between two engagement models:

  • Geneva Track (Hybrid): 2 weeks of live, remote engagement followed by 1 week in Geneva, Switzerland (9–15 July 2026). Includes sessions at the UN Headquarters (Palais des Nations), direct engagement with diplomats (WTO, CERN), and a cultural day trip to Lyon, France.
  • AI Bridge Track (Fully Remote): An 8-week remote learning program featuring a UN-Certified AI for Social Impact Challenge, a virtual internship, and a Global Virtual Expo Pass.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Undergraduate students (S1) or Graduate students (S2/S3)
  • Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  1. Review the official brochure to determine your preferred track.
  2. Prepare your CV and Statement of Purpose.
  3. Submit your application via this link
  4. Application Deadline: 27 May 2026. (Note: If you miss this deadline, the next cohort opens in November 2026).

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
