Soongsil University invites international students to experience a vibrant summer filled with academic excellence and K-culture in the heart of Seoul. The 2026 Soongsil International Summer Program offers intensive cultural excursions, a Language Exchange Program (LEP) to practice Korean with local peers, and a dedicated Soongsil Buddy to help you adjust to life in Korea.

Please note that no payment will be required until we send the invoice by email in June. We would appreciate it if you could kindly take note of this.

No refunds will be granted in the event of early departure or withdrawal from the program for personal reasons.
PROGRAM SESSIONS & FEES
The program fees below already reflect the scholarship discount for partner universities and include tuition, the application fee, dormitory accommodation, and cultural activities.
Session 1 (4 Weeks): 25 July – 21 August 2026
Cost: KRW 2,880,000 (Includes Special Guest Lectures)
Session 2 (3 Weeks): 2 August – 21 August 2026
Cost: KRW 2,330,000
FINANCIAL NOTICE: * Included in the total cost is a KRW 100,000 application fee that is non-refundable under any circumstances. No payment is required at the time of application; Soongsil University will send an official invoice by email in June 2026.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE Students must apply directly to the host institution.
- Create an account on the Official Application Website.
- Fill out the online application form and upload the required documents.
- The direct application deadline is 31 May 2026. The FINAL decision is from Soongsil University.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
