We are pleased to invite researchers to an upcoming online workshop Research Grant Application Writing by The University of Queensland.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
- This workshop aims to support researchers in crafting competitive grant applications for success, particularly, collaborative research grants across countries.
- This session will explore opportunities for engagement between researchers in Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia.
WORKSHOP FACILITATORS
- Madonna Devaney is Associate Director, Research Collaboration and Pre-Award at The University of Queensland. With over 20 years of experience across both academic and professional research roles, she has led major interdisciplinary initiatives and supported the development of programs that drive innovation and social impact. At UQ, Madonna oversees teams that enable research success through strategic planning, collaborative program design, and effective support for competitive funding.
- Rylie Moran is Senior Manager, Pre-Award in the University of Queensland’s Research Office, where she leads the team that supports all competitive research grant applications from UQ — around 3,000 applications each year. Since 2015, she has worked across all aspects of grant applications, supporting researchers from every discipline and across a wide range of funding schemes.
